Day 1: Haridwar to Guptkashi
Begin your spiritual journey from Haridwar early in the morning. Travel approximately 210 km through scenic routes passing sacred confluences at Devprayag and Rudraprayag. Reach Guptkashi by evening and check into your hotel. In the evening, you may visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple nearby and spend a calm night preparing for the pilgrimage ahead.
Day 2: Guptkashi to Kedarnath and Return to Guptkashi
Start early with a drive from Guptkashi to Gaurikund (about 32 km), the base for the trek to Kedarnath Temple. From Gaurikund, embark on a 16 km trek through rugged mountain trails to the divine Kedarnath Temple, or opt for a helicopter ride for convenience. Participate in puja, darshan, and evening aarti at this ancient and revered Shiva shrine. After completing the worship and exploring the temple surroundings including Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi, return to Guptkashi by trek or helicopter.
Day 3: Guptkashi to Haridwar
After breakfast, start your journey back to Haridwar. Enjoy the scenic drive passing through Rudraprayag and Devprayag once again, where you can see the sacred rivers merging. Arrive in Haridwar by evening, where your spiritual pilgrimage concludes on a fulfilling note.
