Reservation: A booking is only confirmed once the initial deposit is received and a confirmation receipt is issued by Deccan Trips.

Payment Schedule: Full payment must be cleared before the commencement of the journey. For high-demand seasons, such as the Chardham Yatra, specific payment deadlines will apply.

Pricing: All prices are subject to change based on availability, fuel hikes, or government taxes until the final booking is confirmed.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

User Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund amounts vary based on how close the cancellation is to the departure date (e.g., 30 days vs. 7 days).

Service Provider Failures: Deccan Trips acts as an intermediary between travelers and hotels/transport providers. While we strive for excellence, we are not liable for the independent actions of these third parties.

Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by natural disasters, strikes, road closures (common in Himalayan regions like Auli or Kedarnath), or government restrictions.
3. Traveler Responsibilities

Health and Fitness: Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the chosen itinerary, especially for high-altitude treks or pilgrimages.

Documentation: It is the traveler’s responsibility to carry valid ID proofs, permits, and, for international travel, valid passports and visas.

Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate the tour of any traveler whose conduct is disruptive or endangers the safety of the group.
4. Itinerary Changes

Flexibility: While we aim to stick to the planned itinerary, Deccan Trips reserves the right to modify routes or accommodations due to logistical necessities or safety concerns.

Driving Hours: For customized tours (such as our South India packages), we aim for a daily driving limit of approximately 5 hours to ensure traveler comfort, though traffic and road conditions may cause variations.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Deccan Trips and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on deccantrips.com. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.
6. Limitation of Liability
Deccan Trips shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss incurred during the trip, except where such loss is caused by our direct negligence. We strongly recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
