At Deccan Trips & Travels, customer satisfaction is our highest priority. We understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly, so we have established the following cancellation and refund policy to ensure transparency and fairness.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellation by Customer:
    • Cancellations made 35 days or more prior to the scheduled travel date will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of 10% of the total booking amount.
    • Cancellations made 15 to 29 days prior to travel will incur a 25% cancellation fee of the total booking amount.
    • Cancellations made 7 to 14 days prior to travel will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total booking amount.
    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before travel or no-shows will not be eligible for any refund.
  2. Cancellation by Deccan Trips:
    • In rare cases of cancellation by Deccan Trips & Travels due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule their trip without additional charges.

Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our website customer support.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days using the original payment method.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment gateway or bank.

Non-Refundable Charges

  • Any non-refundable fees such as visa fees, service charges by partners, or airline cancellation fees are not refundable.
  • Travel insurance, if purchased, is governed by the insurance provider’s policies and is separate from our refund process.

Amendments and Exceptions

  • Amendments to bookings such as date or itinerary changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Special cancellation terms may apply for holiday seasons, peak travel times, or group bookings, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
